I really want to start watching Lost, but I think I've stayed away from it intentionally, because I hate, HATE, when the profitability of shows overshadows story-telling. The same thing kept me away from reading Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series. There just didn't seem to be an end in sight.
And any post that contains a Calvin and Hobbes strip is perfect. If you had included a Berke Breathed comic it would have overwhelmed me.
Oh Mark! You are so missing out on "Wheel of Time." The series (which I do believe was going to be a 12 book epic) has come to a halt, because Jordan got very, very ill. The series is absolutely yummy though. And as for "LOST", well, beware it's addictive - but you have 13 weeks to rent them from Blockbuster....
I have to agree on the Calvins. I constantly have to restrain myself from posting C&H. I'll use Berke Breathed judiciously, perhaps with a warning pre hoc? :)
i much prefer calvin and hobbes. and the strip you posted is an absolute classic! (reminds me of things that I'd imagine when i was a kid too, hehehehehehehehe)
