You're Alaska!
You're big, bulky, and extremely wild. At the same time, you're rather cold and standoffish, even a loner of sorts. Taming you may be one of the last great quests of the people who do manage to find you or even seek you out. So many of them just want to plunder you for what you have of value, but there are a few, the ones who will stick with you, that truly value your rugged remoteness. As long as no one is spilling stuff on you, you are truly beautiful.

I'll make a note not to plunder you, Katja, or spill anything on you. After all, since you are Anniina's best friend, if I distressed you like that, she'd probably feel pressed... and her harsh extremes are scary! (Death Valley anyone?) ~.^

Kiu: Cool! It has been really warm here this week - about 75-80. Flip-flops are being worn as we speak! Yay! Go flipflops!
I think I'll take a risk tomorrow and wear my monkey flip-flops to work (unless it snows, of course). You know Finnish summer: short and little snow :) I'll just wear my Great Garbo- sunglasses, baby-blue nail polish on my toes, listen to RHCP's Dani California and pretend that it is summer *crazy smile*
My dad + Anne are in Taormina, Sicily this week. And their big birthday-party is on May 25th, we still have not bought their presents, but I think, that they were quite happy with the super-present, that Oopi + Johanna "organized". Can't wait October to come for two reasons !!!!!!
I'll have an ophthalmologist (it can't be written that way!)appointment today; keep your fingers crossed that she does not find a glaucoma... I've been a bad girl and haven't seen a silmälääkäri (that's more like it) in seven years...
Are you near Skype this weekend ? It would be so much easier to chat there ? I'm a little embarrassed for terrorizing your blog with my everyday nonsense...
*crosses fingers for Katja* I need to go to an eye doctor (that's my fancy word for it ~.^) too, cuz i've had these same glasses for i think 4 years now...

And, though, i'm not the one in charge of this blog, i kinda like havin you posting lots here, so i can get to know my friend's friends a bit so we can all be friends and friend's friends of friendly friends. or something.

Speaking of Monkey Flipflops, I just bought a screaming hot pink pair of MONKEY FLIPFLOPS for $2.99 - if I find my blue nail polish, we can pretend it's summer together :)
And Ha, both of you, I was at the eyedoc's last August, so I win..... lalalaaaaaa... wait, does that mean I lost?

1. My eyes are ok !!!!!! *happy dance* no hole in my right eye anymore(don'ask me, where it came from, but at least it went away + it did not hurt me)
2. The trees in Helsinki are starting to look a little greenish and my toe-nails baby-blueish *another happy dance*
3. I got my special edition Alkaline Trio-cd today. From now on there is going to be a AT-festival here in my apartment AT LEAST the next seven days. Everybody is invited !
IST: You can download Skype from www.skype.com it is the easiest and cheapest way for me to keep in touch with my sis in Bavaria + other friends around Europe.
And Niu: hot pink monkey flip-flops... it is not just the trees in Helsinki that are getting greenish... EPISTÄ !!!!
Well, I'll just keep on eating Oltermanni and Karjalapiirakka... while I'm in sauna... Anyways, I have to go to work tomorrow and then I'll go to a friend's birthday party in the evening and on Sunday I am so going to SLEEP. Stupid time-zones !!! = I'll be fast asleep, when you are awake and the other way around :(

Wow, busy weekend! Have fun! Me, I'm just gonna be doing "Proof" and sleeping, which is like my favorite hobby nowadays, heh heh.
I'll be playing softball for a couple hours in the morning, then working on sat. Then i'll possibly wake up in time to go to morning church on sunday, or maybe i'll just sleep in... regardless i'll be at church at 1 for spanish music practice, and playing drums. If i get up then i won't go to church in the evening, otherwise i'll go in the evening. after that i'll hang on ffxi for awhile and maybe actually do some farming or something, then go in and put the truck away most likely at stinking midnight cuz they are slow putzes nowadays :( then i will be up early monday morning to work, and going to go play our first softball game monday evening, yay! i'll try to get a hit for you anniina!

Me: oh, wow, how'd you guess??? :D
