According to my knowledge, which must be biased in this field, people in Hungary have been celebrating Valentine's day only in the past 10-12 years. It has not a real tradition behind the scenes of business.
Yes, same in Finland - it's a tradition brought in by greeting card people. Furthermore, in Finland it's called "Friend's Day" - it's not romantically inclined as much.
